I enjoy playing Legends on my iPad for a quick bit of entertainment in between the business of life but not something I would sit down at with my PC and spend time on with the caliber of games that I could play on a PC. defenders of the realm put away their weapons of war and turned towards more peaceful endeavors. It still worth checking out but it won’t blow your socks off when there are a lot of other quality tactical games out there.

The IP, as I said before, is great but doesn’t quite fit in well with this type of game style. Legends is not a bad game, but it could be so much better. The problem I found with Legends of Kingdom Rush is its simplicity which can lead to a bit of a boring playthrough. There is really no meaningful decision making when progressing through the game which can lead it to a bit of a droning experience. After the first few battles you realise the encounters are just the same as some of the last battles and the enemies appear to be just a reskin of an old enemy. You can create synergy attacks to use with the right combo of characters. Combat is straight forward in a turn-based initiative system, utilising a hex grid for positioning and combat.
